IQFarmer Return & Refund Policy

At IQFarmer, we strive for 100% freshness and quality. However, we understand that agricultural products can be unpredictable. Our policy is designed to be fair to both our hardworking farmers and our valued buyers.

1. Perishable Goods (Fresh Produce, Meat, Dairy)

  • Inspection at Delivery: Due to the nature of fresh produce, buyers must inspect these items immediately upon delivery.

  • Return Window: Any issues with freshness or damage must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Eligibility: Returns are accepted if the product is spoiled, rotten, or significantly different from the description at the time of delivery.

2. Non-Perishable Goods (Tools, Machinery, Packaged Seeds)

  • Return Window: In accordance with Zimbabwean consumer rights, you have 7 days to return non-perishable items.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and with all tags/seals intact.

  • Faulty Machinery: For equipment or machinery, the manufacturer's warranty applies. Please contact support for assistance with warranty claims.

3. Livestock Policy

  • Health Check: Buyers are encouraged to inspect livestock health at the point of handover.

  • Claims: Once livestock has been accepted and moved to a new location, returns are only considered if a latent (hidden) health issue is verified by a qualified veterinarian within 48 hours.

4. How to Request a Return

  1. Log in to your IQFarmer account.

  2. Go to "Purchase History" and select the order.

  3. Click "Return Request" and upload a clear photo of the issue (e.g., damaged fruit or a broken tool).

  4. Our team will review the request and mediate between you and the farmer.

5. Refunds Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method (Ecocash, InnBucks, or Bank Transfer).
